From Feensteig (partial stretch) to Treetop Trail
Trees of all sizes, bizarre shapes, mighty veterans, dead wood covered with moss, lichen, fungi - it is the diversity of life which makes the forests of the Hainich UNESCO World Heritage Site so special. They are a remnant of jungle in the midst of our intensively cultivated countryside.
At exceptional locations, the Hainich National Park can be seen from new angles. Whether high up on the Treetop Trail or tracking down fairytales on the Feensteig, the forest can be truly experienced through new viewpoints, games and knowledge.
