Belvedere Palace Weimar
In the elegant 18th century summer residence, the Weimar Classic Foundation displays a selection from its exquisite arts and crafts, with valuable porcelain, faience ware, glass, elegant furniture and serpentine items dating from the late 17th to 19th century. The ballroom, Silver Salon and side pavilions have been very elaborately restored in recent years. The porcelain and glass exhibits originate from royal castles. A permanent exhibition shows garden art at the time of Duke Ernst August, who had the palace built. The palace is surrounded by a country park in post-Classical/Romantic style.
