Schiller Museum in Weimar

The Schiller Museum adjoins the northern side of Friedrich Schiller's historic home and has three large exhibition rooms. Completed in 1988, it was one of the few new museums to be built in the GDR. In 2015, the Klassik Stiftung Weimar is presenting one of the three large Thuringian Cranach exhibitions here. With the title of "Cranach in Weimar", the Museum's own rich collection of paintings, drawings, graphic prints, book art, etc. will be on show.
